Xamp Discrete Headphone Bi-amp
The jewel in the Sound BlasterX G6’s proverbial crown is our custom-designed Xamp discrete headphone amplifier. As opposed to single amplification found in other gaming DAC amps, Xamp amplifies both audio channels individually. You’ll enjoy more detailed audio on highs, mids, and bass.
Xamp will drive any gaming headset excellently, but it goes even further than that. The ultra-low 1Ω output impedance perfectly drives performance-grade sensitive 16Ω in-ear monitors all the way to studio-grade 600Ω headphones.

I know the brand Creative as I had been using their Audigy sound card for many years. Performance has always been up to the mark though their software is sketchy.
This Creative SoundblasterX G6 is simply awesome. Just plug it in and play! Do not worry about drivers, firmware, etc.
The sound quality is very good. If you want to experience good sound quality, you need to have very good headphones. I hardly needed to boost to hi-gain as the normal sound itself is enough. I hardly ever use the XFI button on the side. Very good amplification in case you press the Hi-gain.
Watching movies with the normal sound is good and if you turn on the Hi-gain, get ready to feel the pain when the thud and the sudden boom hits your ears. You will jump if you watch a scary movie with a good set of headphones.
Just enjoy this little AMP and do not worry too much about details.

Virtual or discrete channel separation does not seem to be the case here, this is just a volume gainer and sound enhancer tool.
Using this on ps5, tried optical in and everything else, there is no discrete 5.1 experience, either the information is false or something else is going on here, some said optical out gives 5.1 to 5.1 speakers, if one has 5.1 speakers they likely do not need this anyways.
Bought this to get headphone 5.1 experience which is impossible apparently. Waste of money for me as i do not need volume increasing tool nor sound enhancers and rarely go over 50 and already have dolby and dts app on pc and ps5 has tempest 3d for surround options, wanted discrete 5.1, didn’t get it.
Still giving 3 stars as the equilizer and stuff is decent here though nothing special really.

Excellent, use it via optical in for consoles and set to direct mode, solid surround sound and the clarity is dolby digital level, worth buying it whether you use earphones or headphones.
